Cyberjaya 5G Future Talent Innovation Challenge

1DEFINITIONS

“Organizer” means IKolaxus Sdn Bhd. “Challenge” means Cyberjaya 5G Future Talent Innovation Challenge. “Participant” means any registered individual/team member. “Submission” means all ideas, documents, software, designs, presentations, videos, photographs, prototypes or any materials submitted. “PDPA” means Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010.

2ELIGIBILITY & PARTICIPATION

Open to students of recognised Malaysian universities/colleges. Participants under 18 require written parental consent. Organizer may refuse or cancel registration at its discretion.

3REGISTRATION & VERIFICATION

All information must be accurate. Organizer may verify any details. False or misleading submissions lead to disqualification.

4SUBMISSION RULES

Submissions must be original, lawful and non-infringing, created specifically for this Challenge. Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered.

5JUDGING PROCESS

Evaluation includes innovation, feasibility, impact, theme alignment and presentation quality.

JUDGES’ DECISION FINALITY

All judging decisions including rankings, eligibility determinations and prize awards are final, binding and non‑appealable. No correspondence or disputes will be entertained.

Prizes are non‑transferable and subject to applicable taxes.

7INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OWNERSHIP

All Submissions become the exclusive property of the Organizer upon submission. Participants assign all worldwide IP rights to the Organizer on a perpetual, royalty‑free basis.

The Organizer may reproduce, publish, modify, distribute, sublicense or commercialise any Submission in any media.

The Organizer may share Submissions with sponsors, partners, universities and government agencies for promotional, educational, recruitment, research, demonstration or commercial purposes without compensation.

Participants waive all moral rights and warrant submissions are original and non‑infringing.

8MEDIA RIGHTS

Participants grant the Organizer full rights to use photos, videos or recordings for promotion and publicity without further consent or payment.

9SPONSOR DATA ACCESS

Any sponsor access to participant data follows opt‑in PDPA consent rules only for recruitment or collaboration purposes. Sensitive data will not be disclosed.

10REPRESENTATIONS

Participants warrant they have legal authority to participate and submit materials.

11CONFIDENTIALITY

Participants must not disclose confidential Sponsor or Challenge information.

12PUBLICITY

Participation constitutes consent to publicity usage consistent with PDPA policies.

13CODE OF CONDUCT

Participants must act ethically and professionally and avoid plagiarism or misconduct.

14DISQUALIFICATION

Participants may be disqualified for T&C breaches, plagiarism, misrepresentation or unethical conduct. Decisions are final.

15LIABILITY & INDEMNITY

Organizer is not liable for losses, injuries or damages during participation or sponsor usage consistent with these terms. Participants indemnify the Organizer for third‑party claims arising from submission breaches.

16PDPA COMPLIANCE

Data is processed in accordance with PDPA 2010 and Kolaxus Personal Data Protection Policy.

17AMENDMENTS

Organizer may amend these T&C with notice on official platforms.

18GOVERNING LAW

These T&C are governed by Malaysian law and subject to Malaysian courts.

Acknowledgment and Consent

By participating in the Challenge, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Terms & Conditions Agreement.
